Zusammenfassung:	This invention concerns transfer sheets which include a blocking agent and which are useful in the heat transfer dye printing of various materials such as textiles. The blocking agent is capable of chemically reacting with and thereby completely or partially blocking the transfer of heat transfer dyes which have been previously imprinted or coated on the transfer sheets. By using such transfer sheets, designs can be printed which are not otherwise obtainable by conventional techniques. The invention further concerns the method of making such sheets, their use in the printing of various materials, and the materials which have been so printed.
