The isomer (R)-(-)-3-{[2-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-1-methylethyl]-aminomethyl}-3,4-dihydr o-2H-1,5-benzodioxepin-3-ol and its non-toxic acid addition salts is unexpectedly more potent in the reduction of elevated interocular pressure in mammals than its enantiomorph or the racemate thereof.
