Zusammenfassung:In a rotary drum collator, apparatus is described for removing sheet material from pockets in a collating drum. As the drum rotates, adjacent rotating sheet withdrawing arms sweep into pockets of the drum to frictionally remove the sheets. The rotating arms and the drum require careful phase adjustments. Continuous depletion of the sheet material requires a continuous adjustment of the angle or phase at which the rotating arms engage the sheet material.
