Zusammenfassung:	A power transmission unit which can be used as a speed increaser or a speed reducer. A cylindrical element is fixed on a shaft and a second cylindrical element surrounding the first element is adapted to roll eccentrically therearound and to rotatably drive an element connectable thereto. The cylindrical element may be provided with smooth contacting surfaces or alternatively gear teeth or the like to provide in either instance a slip-free engagement therebetween.
