1507511 Writing appliances D W PARRY 2 June 1975 [3 June 1974] 23782/75 Heading B6P A writing device is combined with a plate 28 which forms or supports a memorandum device, and either is integral with a removable cap 24 of the device or is clipped to it. The memorandum device may be a pad or roll of paper, a wipable surface or a mechanically-erasable writing tablet incorporating sheets which adhere on pressure to provide an image and are separated by a sliding bar to remove it. Ruler edges 34, 36 with indicia 38 and eraser shield apertures which can be applied to the memorandum device may be incorporated. The writing device may be a pen, a pencil, a felt, fibre or plastics tipped pen or a ball-point pen and the cap may be either a point protector or a rear cap.
