1-(4-Alkylthiopheny)-2-substituted amino-alcohols and their salts

The new amino-alcohols according to the invention are represented by the formula WHEREIN: R1 represents a RS, RSO or RSO2 group in which R is a linear or branched alkyl group (C1-C10), an acetyl radical or hydrogen; R2 and R3, which may be identical or different, represent a halogen atom or an alkyl (C1-C3), amino, alkylamino (C1-C4), acylamino, nitro, carboxy, carbalkoxy, trifluoromethyl, alkoxy (C1-C4) or alkylthio (C1-C4) radical; R4 represents hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl radical containing 1 - 4 carbon atoms; R5 and R6, which may be identical or different, represent hydrogen, a substituted or not, linear or branched alkyl (C1-C16) radical, a cycloalkyl (C5-C6) radical, an alkynyl (C3-C4) radical, an alkenyl (C3-C4) radical or a heterocycle of the kind piperidine, morpholine, pyridine or pyridimine, R5 and R6 can also form with adjacent nitrogen atom a heterocyclic radical, substituted or not; one of said R2 and R3 can be a hydrogen atom or can be both a hydrogen atom provided that simultaneously R is a lower alkyl (C1-C3) radical in the group RS, R4 and R5 are hydrogen atoms and R6 is an isopropyl or t-butyl radical or if simultaneously R is a methyl radical in the group RSO2, R4 and R5 are hydrogen atoms and R6 is an isopropyl radical.
