Zusammenfassung:	New organic peroxides having the formula OOR5 R1-C=C-C ANGLE ¦¦¦ R2R3R4OOR6 may be prepared by reacting a monohydroperoxide selected from R5OOH and R6OOH with an unsaturated carbonyl compound having the formula R1-C=C-C=O ¦¦¦ R2R3R4, the reaction being carried out in the presence of an acid catalyst at a temperature between about -30 DEG C and +80 DEG C, the molar ratio of the carbonyl compound to the hydroperoxide being between about 1:2 and 1:10. The new organic peroxides are particularly useful for crosslinking plastomers, vulcanizing elastomers, and as initiators for radical polymerizations.
