Zusammenfassung:	A process for cultivating a microorganism to obtain maximal cell mass production and maximal utilization of the nutrient medium which comprises adding to the microorganism a nutrient medium wherein the weight proportions of the nutrient elements correspond to those present in the cultivated microorganism at its predetermined optimum growth and yield conditions. A novel microbiological cultivation medium comprises the nutrient elements in the optimum growth and yield proportions of the organism to be cultivated.
