Zusammenfassung:	A method of measuring changes in the area surrounding a mining cavity in which a rod-like anchor is rigidly embedded in a bore hole of such cavity. The changes in the strata are measured in several planes distributed over the length of the anchor by sensors, which are mounted on the outside of the anchor at axially spaced intervals and dimension and speed of changes in the strata are detected on the outside of the bore hole from connections to the sensors.
