Zusammenfassung:A fuel injection system for multi-cylinder internal combustion engines wherein the length of intervals during which the electromagnetic fuel injection valves remain open depends on the rate of air flow in the intake manifold. The flow meter in the manifold employs a pivotable flap which is mounted in the path of inflowing air and is rigid with a damping blade serving to prevent fluctuations in the angular position of the flap. The flap controls a variable resistor which is connected with one input of a control circuit for the coils of fuel injection valves. The position of the flap is further influenced by varying distance of the engine from sea level and by changes in the temperature of inflowing air.
