| Zusammenfassung: | A new marking apparatus for applying fusible organic-based particulate marking material through a flame to form a continuous marking on a paved surface. In this apparatus, forced air means forces a fuel-air mixture at high velocity through a chute means directed toward the paved surface. A set of kindling nozzles, also connected to the fuel supply, is disposed circumferentially around the end of the chute means, and ignites the fuel-air mixture passing through the chute means. Marking material is fed from a supply hopper into the chute means. |
