Zusammenfassung: | A speed detector for producing from the output of an axle-mounted transducer an analog output signal indicative of the speed of a moving vehicle. A signal processing circuit responsive to the output of the transducer generates a square-wave control signal which is utilized to control the recurrent charging and discharging of an error integrating capacitor. The rate of discharge of the capacitor is such that an error voltage is developed across the capacitor indicative of the vehicle speed error, and an FET switch controlled by the square-wave periodically applies this error as a pulse to a storage integrator. By varying the discharge rate of the capacitor in accordance with the voltage developed in the storage integrator, an analog output signal indicative of vehicle speed is developed. By controlling the conduction time of the FET switch, the effectiveness of the error on the analog output signal is proportioned to the absolute speed error of the vehicle. |
