Zusammenfassung:	A rotary engine with a two-lobe internal peripheral wall and a three-lobe planetary rotor has the peripheral wall formed so that apex seals that are mounted on the rotor and engage the peripheral wall to seal a chamber therebetween are simultaneously wedged gradually radially inwardly when chamber pressure is high so that the apex seal engagement with the peripheral wall is mechanically enforced by wedging action to reduce leakage past these seals to adjacent chambers.
