Zusammenfassung:	This invention relates to a process for modifying textiles and fibres, especially textiles and fibres of keratinous material, and in particular to a process for rendering the material resistant to shrinkage and to a process for imparting durable press characteristics to the material. As agents for modifying the keratinous materials there are used polyurethanes or polythiourethanes containing at least two mercaptan (-SH) groups per molecule.
