'[Also in Division C2] Pharmaceutical compositions which inhibit the enzymatic reactions of trypsin, papain, kallikrein, plasmin and thrombokinase, which inhibit fibrinolysis, kinin formation from kininogen and blood coagulation and which are useful as anti-inflammatory agents comprise a compound I R 3 CONH-CH(R 2 )-CONH-CH(R 1 )- CONH-CH(CHO)-(CH 2 ) 3 -NHC=(NH)NH 2 wherein R 1 and R 2 are CH(CH 3 ) 2 , CH 2 CH (CH 3 ) 2 or -CH(CH 3 )CH 2 CH 3 and R 3 is CH 3 of C 2 H 5 , and optionally antihistamines, sulpha drugs, liptropic agents, CNS stimulants, local anaesthetics, analgesics, laxatixes, sedatives, antibiotics, vitamins, hormones, anabolic agents and/or antifungal agents. Specific examples of which are mentioned. The compositions may be administered orally, parenterally or topically.
