Zusammenfassung:	A washing system for a continuously operative car washing apparatus in which a plurality of brushes, in the form of side brushes and wheel brushes are in series, each is supported on the frame of the apparatus by means of a brush arm swingable around a vertical axis. Some of the brushes are swung toward their open or closed positions dependent on the swinging of another brush toward its open or closed position so as not to injure a car going ahead therebetween.
