Zusammenfassung:A device is provided for the purpose of measuring the oscillatory combustion response of burning propellants to imposition of incident pressure oscillations, and to measure the damping rate of imposed oscillations (primarily due to damping by particles or droplets of condensed phase reaction products). The method uses artificially imposed oscillations to permit measurement of effect of oscillation with propellants that do not spontaneously produce oscillations.
