The invention comprises compounds of the Formula I where R1 is C 1-4 alkyl, R2 is C 3-6 alkyl or cycloalkyi, and X is C 1-4 alkyl or alkoxy, or halogen, or may be hydrogen when R2 is cycloalkyl, provided that X is not alkoxy or halogen when R2 is isopropyl. The compounds of Formula I may be prepared by one of the following reaction schemes: where Hal is halogen and M is alkali metal or (in Formula XXIX only) hydrogen or ammonium. The compounds of Formula I are used as herbicides, either alone or as the active ingredients in conventional herbicidal compositions.
