Zusammenfassung:	A system for controlling the operation of a vehicle along the right of way from a remote wayside location has a first means including a ladder transmission line, or wiggle wire, along the wayside for determining the location of the vehicle by counting energy pulses generated by passage of the vehicle over transpositions, or steps, in the wiggle wire. A second means including spaced wayside markers delivers a signal intermittently determining location of the vehicle while a control means for generating a signal permitting the vehicle to proceed has been provided only if location of the vehicle as determined by the first and second means is substantially the same upon the passage of each of the markers.
