Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for depositing elongated, flexible material in a container and including a drum, a revolving coiling head for sequentially winding loops of the material onto the drum, and means for pushing the loops axially down for the respective lowest loop to drop into the container; a pair of pulleys is disposed on a holder revolving about the drum in synchronism with the coiling head; the pulleys grip the material of the dropping loop and at least one of the pulleys runs at a peripheral speed faster than the pay-in speed of the elongated material; the holder runs in an excentrical, closed-loop, revolving track so that the material is deposited in the container in rosetta-shaped pattern.
