1360048 Dyeing polyester materials GAF CORP 3 Sept 1971 [17 Sept 1970] 41207/71 Heading D1B [Also in Division C4] Durable-press fabrics, in particular polyesters and polyester/cotton blends, are dyed in black shades using a mixture of monoazo dyes comprising per 102 parts by weight of the mixture, 50-80 parts by weight of a blue dye of formula: 20-50 parts by weight of an orange or yellowbrown dye of formula: and 2-20 parts by weight of a red dye of formula: wherein X 1 is Cl, Br or CN, X 2 and R, are alkyl or phenyl, R is alkyl, R 1 is alkyl or alkenyl, R 2 is H, alkyl or ethyl or propyl substituted by -OCONHR 1 n is 2 or 3, X 3 and X' 3 are Cl or Br, R 3 is -CH 2 OCOR 4 -CH 2 OCONHR 5 , -CHOHCH 2 CI or -CH- (CH 2 Cl)OCOR 4 R 5 is C 1-4 alkyl, C 2-4 alkenyl or phenyl and X 4 is H, Cl, Br or CN.
