Zusammenfassung:1380936 L-Arginine by fermentation TANABE SEIYAKU CO Ltd 21 Dec 1971 [25 Dec 1970] 59274/71 Heading C2C L-Arginine is produced by cultivating an arginine hydroxamate-resistant mutant of Bacillus subtilis in a nutrient medium under aerobic conditions, and recovering the L- arginine from the fermentation broth. Preferably the fermentation is carried out in the presence of 1-5% (wt./vol.) of L- or DL- glutamic acid. In an example the L-arginine is isolated as its hydrochloride.
