Zusammenfassung:	A suspension system for an aircraft power unit having a spacer member mounted on the structure of the airframe. Means are provided for mounting the power unit to the spacer member so as to permit the power unit to vibrate predominantly in one predetermined direction and avoid resonance between the power unit and the airframe structure. The mounting means includes an elastic member such as a torsion bar arranged between and connected to the spacer member and the power unit.
