Zusammenfassung:	In order to protect against excessive loads the membrane of a differential pressure valve associated with a fuel metering valve of a fuel injection apparatus, there is provided a second differential pressure valve which is connected parallel with the first-named differential pressure valve and which opens to discharge pressurized fluid therefrom when the differential pressure in the first-named valve exceeds a safe magnitude.
