Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is an intensifying screen for X-ray radiograph use having a striped or checkered pattern of metal strips embedded in a high-sensitive phosphor layer, thereby reducing "mottles" which are offensive to the eye in examining an X-ray picture and at the same time absorbing the scattered X-ray in the screen. The combined effects of reduction of "mottles" and absorption of scattered X-rays improve the image quality of an X-ray picture.
