Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A base range finder wherein a projector directs a beam of infrared light against a spot on the object. The reflected light beam impinges on one of a series of photosensitive transducers, on different sections of a single transducer, or on a movable transducer depending on the angle between the emitted and reflected light beams, such angle being indicative of the distance from the object. The signals which are produced by one of the series of transducers or by the single or movable transducer are amplified and are used to change the position of the index of a measuring instrument and/or the position of the picture taking objective in a photographic apparatus.
