Zusammenfassung: | The sorting machine involves a material separator (2) and a sensor to classify the sorted material. It has two perforated conveyor belts (6,8), one of which (8) is driven faster than the other (6). A suction chamber (14) beneath the upper run of each belt sucks air through the perforations, holding pieces with large contact area against it, and with other pieces sliding off. The slower belt slopes upwards and the faster belt slopes upwards less steeply. A feeder belt (4) feeds the slower belt, where its discharge end is at a set distance from it, and which has a vibrator (5). There is a yet faster conveyor belt (10), which leads to a further split parallel conveyor belt with visual sensors e.g. video camera, and beating part protruding between the parallel belt parts to strike an item, with microphones sensing the quality of the sound produced. The sensor outputs are used to judge the type of material which is accordingly conveyed to different containers. |
