Zusammenfassung:A traffic barrier gate, adapted to be selectively raised from or lowered to a barrier position, wherein a wooden barrier arm is inserted into the mouth of a fitting provided with a jaw which may be manually opened to permit an end portion of the barrier arm to be moved into or out of the fitting mouth, or closed to retain the arm end portion firmly within the fitting. The device makes it possible to easily remove the stub of the arm from the fitting whenever the arm is broken off, and to quickly reinsert and lock into place an end of the remaining or a new arm.
