Zusammenfassung: | 1308328 Textile laminates BAYER AG 13 May 1970 [14 June 1969] 23153/70 Heading B5N [Also in Division C3] A process for heat-sealing textile materials comprises applying to surface of a textile material a polyurethane obtained from (a) at least one aliphatic polyisocyanate, (b) at least one polyol containing aliphatically bound hydroxyl groups and having a molecular weight of up to 250, and (c) 0À1 to 50% by weight, based on the weight of the polyurethane, of at least one high molecular weight polyhydroxyl compound containing at least two aliphatically bound hydroxyl groups and having a molecular weight of 250 to 2500, applying a second textile material so as to sandwich the polyurethane, and heat-sealing the two materials together. Preferred components are for (a) hexane-1,6-diisocyanate or a biuret triisocyanate, for (b) a mixture of glycols, and for (c) a phthalic acid polyester. The polyurethane may be applied to the textile material in the form of a powder, paste, fleece, thread, fibres, fabric or as a spray. The textile materials may be woven or knitted fabrics, felts and fleeces of natural and synthetic fibres, e.g. of cotton, rayon, wool, polyacrylonitrile, polyamide and polyester fibres. |
