Zusammenfassung:The use of a plurality of heat exchange bundles, each comprising a plurality of tubular elements made from an organic polymeric composition and disposed serially in a narrow channel through which a heat exchange liquid flows in a manner such that substantially all of the flowing heat exchange liquid comes into contact with the tubular elements of each bundle before passing to the next bundle, thereby developing a temperature gradient in the fluid within the channel, provides a heat exchange system which is particularly useful in cooling hot process streams.
