Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for extracting defective articles from a row of articles moving on a conveyor. The apparatus includes a vibrating plate which transfers the articles from the conveyor to a trap door. When the trap door is open the articles are allowed to drop therethrough. When the trap door is closed the articles move thereover to a receiving station. Divider plates are provided for maintaining the articles in rows.
