Zusammenfassung:	A compact light source having a short, straight elongated tubular iodine incandescent lamp. The ends of the lamps are close to the reflector to prevent condensation of the iodine. The reflector is in the shape of a surface of revolution formed by two half-parabolas tilted slightly toward each other, but having the same focus. The light source can be tilted if desired, and can be used as a "movie light" for making motion pictures.
