Zusammenfassung:Process for preparing dispersion-hardened metals and metal alloys, comprising forming a solution comprising metal halide precursors, selected from fluorides, bromides and iodides, of the continuous and dispersed phases of the final product, adding an epoxy compound to said solutions whereby a gel comprising metal hydroxides is formed, converting said metal hydroxides to oxides, and reducing the oxide precursors of the continuous phase of the final product, and products so prepared.
