Zusammenfassung:	This invention relates to titanium dioxide pigment of improved photochemical resistance which contain alumina and has a surface coating of a mixture of hydrous oxides of aluminum, silicon and zinc. The resulting pigment possesses improved resistance to discoloration and chalking upon exposure to ultraviolet light and is particularly useful as a pigmenting material for coating compositions and for opacifying resinous materials including laminates which are conventionally used in wall coverings, counter tops and cabinet facings.
