Zusammenfassung:	1290732 Drafting film AGFA GAVAERT 13 Jan 1970 [11 Feb 1969] 7391/69 Heading B2E [Also in Division G2] A drafting film is made by coating a support, e.g. polyester film paper with a dispersion of finely divided pigment hard particles in a solution of a partially cured formaldehyde resin, a diisocyanate modified polyester or polyesteramide, a acid cross-linking agent and a hydrophilic component and heating the coating at 80-120C to effect cross-linking, said dried coating having a thickness such that particles protrude from the surface of the layer and containing 30-50% wt. of the pigment. The support may be provided with a subbing layer. The pigment is preferably smaller than 10 microns and may suitably be SiO 2 in form of kieselguhr or quartz, Al 2 O 3 , TiO 2 , SiC, Mg 2 C or ground glass. The acid catalyst may be hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid and sulphonic acid or a salt of these acids which yield the acid in solution. The hydrophilic component may be a monoalkyl phosphate. The pigmented coating may also include levelling agents and polyvinyl formed or butyral and copolymers of vinyl chloride, vinyl alcohol and vinyl acetate. A top coating of a waxy fatty acid amide may be provided over the pigmented coating. Light or heat sensitive coatings may also be provided (see Division G2). The drafting film may be subjected to corona discharge.
