[Also in Division C2] As fungicides, use is made of pentachlorobenzylidene derivatives of the formula in which R denotes a cyanoalkyl group of 1-3 carbon atoms, an alkoxycarbonyl-substituted alkyl group in which the alkoxy and alkyl groups each contain 1-3 carbon atoms or a phenyl group substituted by a nitro group or an alkoxy or alkoxycarbonyl group of 1-3 carbon atoms (see Division C2). The compounds may be formulated as dusts, granules, wettable powders or emulsions in known manner and may be used alone or in association with other fungicides or with insecticides, herbicides or fertilizers. A number of such additions are specified. Examples are given.
