Zusammenfassung: | 1,229,536. Measuring fluid-flow. P. D. DIETERICH. July 2, 1969 [July 15, 1968], No.33458/69. Heading G1R. In a fluid-flow measuring device in which an impact probe 30 and a static pressure sensing probe 50 are mounted within a pipe 10 and are connected to different ends of a "U" tube 106 the input probe 30 is removably mounted in a screwed plug 72 to facilitate cleaning or replacement of the probe 30. The probe 30 is provided with a plurality of lateral openings A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 arranged in the radial centres of annular areas A, B within the pipe 10. An averaging tube provided with a lipped opening 40 arranged at the axial centre of pipe 10 communicates. with one end of the manometer 106. The static probe 30 has an opening 58 arranged on the axial centre of pipe 10, facing downstream and communicating with the manometer 106. The probe 30 externally of pipe 10, is cranked at 37 to permit rotation of the probe 30 to an inoperative position transversely of the pipe 10. |
