[Also in Division A4] A wire upholstery spring comprises a body portion 28 provided at each end with a straight, horizontal section 49 from which depends a compressible portion 30, the latter comprising torsion bars 33-36 extending transversely of and directly below the end section 49, the torsion bars being interconnected by upright spacer bars 42, 44 and by connector bars 34, 35 and the end section 49 being connected by a shorter torsion bar 32 and a connector bar 38 to the next torsion bar 33. A foot 46 for anchoring to a support frame is integral with the lower end of the end portion 30.
