[Also in Divisions F4 and H1] A fuel cell control system includes condenser 62 comprising chambers 50 and 60 separated by porous plate 58. The porous plate and the walls of chamber 60 are cooled by cooling circuit 48 so that when pressurized hydrogen containing water vapour passes through chamber 50 the vapour condenses on the cold porous plate to form water which is forced through the plate by the hydrogen pressure. From chamber 60 the water can be run into receiver 72 via valve 70.
