Zusammenfassung:	1288059 Retractive switches TRW Inc 3 Dec 1969 [18 Dec 1968] 59009/69 Heading H1N A door-operated switch for use on motor vehicles comprises a tubular casing which is axially resiliently deformable so as to hold the switch within a hole in a support. In Fig. 4 the casing 10 has raised portions 12 along its length so as to be compressed when the switch is inserted into a suitable sized hole in a support and to hold the switch in position. The switch comprises a spring-loaded plunger having a contact 24 which is moved away from the casing 10 when the plunger is depressed, thus opening the circuit. In a further embodiment, Fig. 6 (not shown), the casing is completely split along its length, and is tapered in steps between its ends.
