Zusammenfassung: | 1,223,603. Hot gas engines. PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN N.V. Jan.22, 1968 [Jan.25, 1967], No.3244/68. Heading F1S. [Also in Division F4] A hot gas engine comprises two piston like bodies 92, 93 which move in such a manner that volume variations of a first space 95 are in opposition to those of a second space 100 and the stroke volume of the second piston like body is substantially equal to T times the stroke volume of the first piston like body, where T is equal to the absolute temperature prevailing in the second space during operation divided by the absolute temperature prevailing in the first space. The engine also comprises a further piston like body 106 which limits with one side a third space 107 which is in open communication with the first or second space or with the communication between these spaces and the third piston like body cooperates with a stroke limiting device and/or energy dissipating device 109-113. The term piston like body is to be understood to include a diaphragm (see also Group F4). |
