| Zusammenfassung: | The 10,11-lactone of 10b -carboxy-11b ,17b -dihydroxy - 17a - ethynyl - estr - 4 - en - 3 - one is obtained by oxidizing the 10,11-lactone of 10b - carboxy - 11b ,17b - dihydroxy - 3 - ketalestr-5-ene to form the corresponding 17-one, ethynylating the latter to form the corresponding 17a - ethynyl - 17b - hydroxy derivative and deketalizing the latter to form the desired 10,11-lactone of 10b -carboxy-11b ,17b -dihydroxy 17a -ethynyl-estr-4-ene-3-one. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the above compound and having anti-androgenic and anti-anabolizing activities are administered orally, perlingually, transcutaneously or rectally. |
