A joint between two concrete building elements 1, 2, each having a resilient spastics groove shaped member 4 keyed thereto by projections 5, comprises a rigid plastics sealing strip 8 gripped between pairs of lips 6 having bearded ends 7. The panels are secured together by bolts passing through bores 11 in synthetic resin members 12 cast in flanges 10. The flanges 10 may be continuous or discontinuous along the edges of the panels. In a modification one member may have a groove shaped rebo keyed thereto holding one edge of the strip and the other edge of the strip merely overlaps or abuts the other member.
