HYDROCORTISONE CYCLOHEXYLSULFAMATE,PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS THEREOF,AND METHOD OF USE

Hydrocortisone 21-cyclohexylsulphamate is prepared by reaction of hydrocortisone with cyclohexylsulphamic acid.ALSO:Pharmaceutical compositions comprise the steroid derivative hydrocortisone 21-cyclohexylsulphamate optionally with other active ingredients, those named being tetracycline, tetracycline hydrochloride, tetracycline phosphate, oxytetracycline, erythromycin glucoheptinate, erythromycin lactobianate, erythromycin propionate, oleandomycin phosphate, acetylsalicylic acid, chlorpheniramine maleate, dexamethasone, meprobamate, promazine and ephedrine. Administration may be oral (syrups, solutions, tablets, granules, capsules, liquid filled capsules), parenteral (solutions), rectal (suppositories), or topical (solutions, wet dressings, ointments, creams, lotions). Hydrocortisone 21-cyclohexylsulphamate possesses adrenocortical activity and produces an elevated blood level of hydrocortisone.
