Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:1,140,705. Self sealing soap dispenser. J. ROSAN. 17 June, 1966 [17 June, 1965], No. 27255/66. Heading A4V. A liquid soap dispenser comprises a container 26 having a resilient hollow body 27, suitably of polythene, with a selfsealing aperture in one or more of the walls in the form of an elongated slit 28 in a thickened portion 32 of the wall, the slit being sealed when the container is unconstrained but opening when compression of the container causes outward bowing of the said portion (see Fig. 5). The slit has a V-shaped cross-section in the closed position, and is made by slitting the thickened wall portion when the latter is bowed out by compression of the container side walls. The slit may be positioned at the base of an elongated trough in the wall, which trough may contain an applicator roller. The container may carry an internal bag or liner of which the opening is sealed to the container walls around the slit. The outer surface of the container may be corrugated. The dispenser is filled either by removal of a screw threaded plug in an internally threaded protrusion of one of the walls, or by means of a syringe with a needle which is inserted through the container wall.
