Zusammenfassung: | 1,135,002. Pneumatic capsule toy. MATTEL Inc. 10 April, 1967 [14 Nov., 1966], No. 16296/67. Heading A6S. A pneumatic capsule toy for a doll having head and body comprises a housing to encompass at least part of the doll and hollow flexible means connected thereto and normally relaxed but inflatable by air under pressure, supplied by means in communication with the flexible means. As shown, housing 14 partly encloses doll 12, which adheres to simulated space sled 16 (made of magnetisable material) by means of permanent magnets in the feet of the doll. The front and rear halves 48, 50, of the housing are hinged together and may be opened for insertion of the doll, such that the head 18 is within the upper portion 56 of the housing and visible through simulated window panes 76. Apertures 60, 70, in halves 62, 66 of the bottom wall 58 allow the lower leg portions to extend below the housing. An air chamber 89 formed by the flexible bladder 90 and the side wall 82 communicates with the open ends 88 of space-suit simulated arms 84, 86 and with an air pump and conduit to permit extension of the arms from a preset bent position to a substantially straight position. |
