Zusammenfassung: | Diolefines are obtained by reacting monoolefines having a chain of at least four carbon atoms with oxygen in the presence of a catalyst comprising an antimonate of vanadium, cobalt, nickel, indium, manganese, chromium or zinc or antimony uranate. The catalyst may be supported on silica and is preferably washed and heated before use to 500-1100 DEG C. The reaction feed may contain 1-25% by volume olefin and 1-21% oxygen, e.g. as air, using nitrogen and/or steam diluent. Reaction is effected at 200-550 DEG C. for 1-30 using subatmospheric to superatmospheric pressure. Butenes form butadiene and methylbutenes form isoprene. Specification 902,952 is referred to. |
