Zusammenfassung:	1,129,756. Vertical steam boilers. BABCOCK & WILCOX CO. 5 May, 1966 [5 May, 1965], No. 19990/66. Heading F4A. [Also in Division B2] In a vapour, e.g. steam, generating vessel 10 primary and secondary separators 20, 22 (see Division B2) are provided for removing liquid particles from the vapour. Make-up and separated liquids pass downwardly through downcomer space 16 and enter a vapour generating space 14. The vapour-liquid mixture leaving the space 14 passes into a collection space 15 and enters the primary separators 20. Separated liquid flows downwardly from the bottom of the separators 20 and into the space 16 and separated vapour and entrained liquid flow upwardly into the secondary separators 22 from which the liquid-free vapour flows upwardly into the vapour space in the upper portion of the vessel and the separated liquid is discharged via pipes 25 into the space 16.
