Zusammenfassung: | 1,077,280. Photographic cameras. EASTMAN KODAK CO. Dec.23, 1963 [Jan. 5, 1963], No. 50612/63. Heading G2A. A photographic camera comprises an objective lens, a shutter, a release member, a mechanism controlled by said member to initiate operation of the shutter a predetermined time after actuation of said member and to move a photo-responsive device of an exposure meter out of a ray path of the objective lens at a predetermined time prior to the operation of the shutter. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 the device 10 is shown in position in front of the objective. When camera release 2 is moved downwards manually, lever 3 causes the shutter mechanism to operate in a known manner and rotate pinion 4 to move rack 5 to the left. This, by means of follower pin 7b, and pivoted levers 7, 8, 9 causes the device 10 to be moved out of the light path prior to the shutter being opened. The levers are reset during film winding or shutter setting action in known manner which causes pinions 11, 12 to rotate and move rack 5 and its follower 7b to the right. In an alternative embodiment Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown) movement of a rack (25) to the left causes a cover flap to move to a picture taking position and abut arm (28c) of lever (28) and rotate it clockwise to (a) close flash switch (34) (b) rotate levers (30), (31) by means of (28b) to move device 10 out of the light path and (c) move stop (28a) out of the path of rack (25) so that the latter can open the shutter in known manner. |
