Zusammenfassung: | 1,014,210. Packages. TETRA A.B. Oct. 16, 1964 [Nov. 9, 1963], No. 42336/64. Heading B8C. A package is formed from a paper web 1 having a cut line 7, the web being coated on one of its surfaces with an extruded plastics film, e.g. of polyethylene, and a heated tool applied to an area 6 of the web to cause the plastics material to oxidize and the web in that area to become brittle; at the same time the film is made more adherent to the web in the area 6. The web is then formed into a tube by uniting its edges 2, 3, and the tube is sealed at intervals after material is filled into it. The tube is mechanically deformed to the parallelepipedic shape of Fig. 2, and it is sealed so that the edge 10 of the fin 9 corresponds to an interrupted line 11 on the blank. The fin is torn along the line 7 to open the package. The package may be non-rectilinear or of tetrahedran shape. |
